At South Pittsburg two players who are now shopomores Alex Adcock and Joey Layne started playing as 8th graders and since then they have been starters and Alex on second base batiing 6th or 7th , and Joey pitching and playing third base battting 4th have been playing solid baseball for S.P. Alex finishing last year with the 6th highest batting average on the team with a .230 and Joey finishing 3rd on batting averages with a .320,also with Tyler Hampton with a .355, and David Cagle with a .450 S.P. should have a pretty good hitting team and also with a great 3-4 pitchers and a good defense they should be pretty impresive this year. So good luck S.P.

what good is it that they were starting 8th graders? How many games did yall win that year? Probably not that many. South pittsburg doesnt even compare to teams like Whitwell. If I believe that i'm right, So. Pitts her won like 15 games in 2 years!! Yea good job there 8th graders. Yall really helped out the teams alot there. Yall probably only played because there wasnt enough players or something. Here's a hint for yall, recruit some players around school or something so yall might have more than 10 wins this year!!!

This is exactly what is wrong with your team. You have a couple of players who think they are the best South Pittsburg has ever had, but they are just average...South Pittsburg has some good young talent and 3 good pitchers in Kilgore, Robinson and Layne. If you can't talk good about your team, QUIT, they don't need you.

Truefan get off of your high horse. You act as if we should be talkin about the state championship we won last year or something. All this trash talk about our team serves a big purpose and that is to get the other players fired up. There is no one on the team that actually thinks what they say on here. It is all in good fun and for laughs. Something to break the monotony of the past 2 years. Now when we go on and finish above .500 for the year then we will have something better to talk about. But until then this is all we have so just leave it alone.

I agree. The only reasons we talk like this is because we wont to give each other a hardtime and to fire the other players up. The other players know that we are just playing around with them. Why would we talk bad about our teammates and actually mean it to begin with. We are a "team", talking bad about one another would not help the cause of winning.
