glad the rings are going to be $200.00. Make some state champion shirts showing your record and on back have scores of all games & all the players underneath with Seniors in bold since it shows respect & they will be missed. Sell shirts 25.00 a piece I believe your fanbase will be happy to pay that even more so if they knew it would help purchase the rings. Good luck with it hope my idea will help some.

Guest Termite

you know what Termite your right. I apologize for the comment. I started this and now ending it.

We are from the same county and should cheer for each other. You guys come up last Friday to support us and we thank you for that. I'm sure if you guys would have been playing we would have brought alot up to support you guys.

Good luck to the 2013 owls. The tssaa has it set up just right for this county. With 1A and 3A being on same day back to back, can you imagine the crowd that would be there if we both made it to championship game? We would set some kind of record I'm sure.

Agree.......

Knives are a good idea. I still think an ole timers game would raise a little money. Maybe license plates,

License plates at the school?

No, I am not aware if they are selling them at the school. I don't know if you know him but Rusty Burton is the one that is selling the license plates. I don't know his number but I found out through facebook.

They are 10 bucks a piece or two for 18. I think most of the money is going towards the payment of the rings.

Not that this will see the day of light..Sunshine glows occasionally though..Questions for the Gmen faithful...First let me say congrats! You guys finally got over the SP hump then took care of bidness...Where do u rank this team in comparison to 83,84 teams? I thought last years team as well as this years from what I saw was similar from a talent standpoint as 88 team which some still say is your most complete team. Secondly the RB returns but do u think he can carry the burdon next year? Seems like alot of simalarities to me between next years team and 89 team. Both lost alot but both bringing back a big piece of the TRAIN.. I know some SP folks def still have nightmares about Jamie Angel

I know people are trying to come up with different ways to raise money for our boy's championship rings but why don't they have a huge pep rally at the football field like on a Friday night and replay the championship game? They could have concessions open, have stand selling championship shirts and hats, and charge 5 bucks admission with all money going towards the team's rings. I would definitely pay that to get in and sure there are a ton more that also would too.

Next Summer: Bikinis, Girls, and Car Wash... :)

    • Best-of-three sectional series vs East Robertson at home starting Wednesday.  They put us out last year at this point.  Go Pirates!!
    • I don't believe they have anyone that is surbers caliber but a decent staff overall.
    • Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?
    • Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
