first
Any nice showings from local wrestlers at ferrace duals? I believe the hill and db was there
KingGreene
Gary Hudgins (113), Max Vaughn (132), Austin Bagley (145), and Damian Hayes (220) were undefeated wrestlers for The Hill. Jefferson and DB were in the opposite pool, so I'm not sure how their individuals did. However, team wise, DB beat Jefferson in a close 40-36 decision and their only loss came to the eventual champions Brookwood from GA. Buzz19
How did DB do? I heard another pool was at a facility off SHHS campus? Who stood out there?
first
Impressive showing by Jefferson county! Four undefeated wrestlers by the hill also impressive. With Riley coming back I still expect the hill to be the team to beat at regions!
marshiebaby
surprise to me was Colby Hardin at 182 for the Hill really starting to get it, he was 4-1 yesterday and wrestled above where I thought he was at experience wise - he is much improved from a busy tough early season. Hunter Bagley at 170 was also 4-1 which is good for any freshman especially in upper weight classes
KingGreene
Riley will be back this week and Dammann will be back mid January. The Hill should finally be 100% January 17th. The date of the DB/Crockett dual. All of The Hill Freshman and Sophomore have been showing major improvement, stepping up and rising to the occasion at different times. They showed how much they had improved by an impressive showing at the JV tournament in PF. Which I believe also helped their confidence as a lot of them have had to step up and wrestle varsity unprepared in a tough scedule. They are battling and overcoming. We have a very special group of young kids. Edited December 24, 2012 by KingGreene
