New basketball districts?

Who stays who goes?

 

Distict 11AA what will the district look like next yr?

with CCHS and harpeth leaving who comes in?

 

And forgive me for not knowing I believe 12A the district currently with Cascade Moore co. etc I know Cascade goes but where and who will be new in the district??

Cascade goes to 12-AA, along with CPA, to play Giles, Marshall, Page, Spring Hill. Summit will move to Class AAA and play in the Williamson County district.

 

Lewis County, Fairview, Hickman and East Hickman go to 11-AA to play Creek Wood, Camden, Waverly, Montgomery Central, Stewart County

 

Cheatham County and Harpeth go to 9-AA to join White House, White House-Heritage, Greenbrier, Sycamore, Westmoreland

 

Lipscomb remains in 10-AA and will compete against Pearl-Cohn, Maplewood, Stratford, East Nashville, and Whites Creek

Some of the redistricting makes no sense to me.

 

In AA Jackson Central-Merry, Jackson Liberty, and Jackson North Side are all in one district and Jackson South Side is in another. Seems like it would make sense to put all the Jackson teams together

 

In A the Memphis district will have 14 basketball schools in it. In football it won't really matter as only 8 participate. Only one district outside West Tenn. has more that 7 teams.
