I saw the news trailer for it, but did not catch the story. They were, however, showing pictures of Warren County, so I'm pretty sure it was about Tidwell.

It was a follow-up on the Tidwell pre-trial diversion story that was discussed on these boards last week. They came by my office today to get some file pictures of the player involved.

There was something about a teacher in Sumner County that backed a parent up against a wall sometime this week...don't know the details...but ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...well... nevermind...

I saw the story on Channel 4 but not sure where it was from. A coach threw a helmet in the locker room and hit a player with it. That's all I remember about it.

If my suspicions about this story are correct, the only thing this teacher (Sumner County) is guilty of is defending his wife. If what he did has been truthfully presented by the accusing party, he handled himself improperly, but I would like to think that any person would defend their spouse in this way.

 

I know the gentleman in question, and he is a good man. He is a slightly intimidating figure with his presence (he is 6'2" or taller), but he is well liked and respected by his peers.
