Expect a very tough environment...last five(5) years they have only lost one(1) sub-state...Howard beat them by two in 2010 and Tyner lost to them by two last year...it will be a close game if McMinn Central plays like they did against Howard but if Chargers fall behind by six or eight the crowd will factor-in and they will get pumped-up!!! One of the toughest places to play especially when the "reward" is Murfreesboro...Good Luck!

At home I think I think that it's LA game to lose. I don't know a whole lot about McMinn Central but I'd say LA by 5 IMO. I think we could be looking at a shoot-out, LA has scored 65 or more this season 20 times and MC has done it 21 times with both averaging over 70 a game in the post-season so far. That kinda of jumped out at me when looking at the records. Take the over!

That Howard win took two overtimes too! I have always been impressed with how Howard & Tyner comes into these games poised & handles being on the road well, but that has alot to do with their experince of being there year after year & playing a tough schedule. So im hoping that the experince factor helps LA to take advantage of any nerves & Hogeye nation (The 6th Man) always shows up to these big games! Heard MC has purchased 500 tickets, so it may be epic!

Wow if that's true that gym will be absolutely packed. With it being MC I could believe that though. I expect a very loud very exciting very close game tonight. LA does not lose many sub states at home, and being home tonight I agree its their's to lose. I'm interested to see how long it takes McCoin to get his dunk in tonight and really get the fan base going. Our student section really needs to come to life tonight.

If the gym is that full, please get pictures! I'd love to see that.

As for the game, I feel that as a post player, Eldridge is better than Walters. So he will give MV just as many problems. Ramsey will be unstoppable as usual and McCoin will be ready as well. As long as LA stays out of foul trouble, it's theirs to lose...

Just hoping the crowd from the LA side actually makes a little noise. Students haven't been good since the Richard Melton days and sometimes it feels like you're at a tennis match.

I agree students need to get pumped up tonight, and as one of Coach Jenkins ast. for the tennis team I some times think we get more excited than the student section here lately

I know very little about LA, other than I heard they had a POY candidate, and the fact they won their Region - which is always impressive. I saw Central play about 5-6 times this season. They're not great, but they are pretty good and can score in bunches when they're on a roll. They're coached better than the McMinn Central girls.
