Kwayu Graham resigns as head coach in Lexington NC after 1 season. Just search for Lexington Dispatch. They reported this today. Caught everyone by surprise at the school. This could be good news for Oak Ridge. Kwayu has three sons that play sports. I think the oldest is about to begin high school.

I didn't know that. This is the first time I got word of it. I hope he resigned to rejoin Joe in the Ridge.

Well, on the "Ridgers for Gaddis" Facebook page a lady posted that if anybody knew of a nice house in Oak Ridge for an assistant coach who will be moving to town to let her know so she can let Gaddis or the assistant coach who will be moving to town know about it. I'm figuring this was Kwayu she was speaking of. This was around a week an a half ago. Actually, i just checked. It was exactly a week ago that she posted that. Looking for a 4-5 bedroom house. Has to be Kwayu and family.

    • Yeah, we came up short. I remember we threw a ball over the middle to #5 Guymon? and he came up short of the sticks. Gave em he&& for a bit though.
    • Doe dee doe doe…..hmmmmmmm one of those players can run faster than my lawnmower when I put it in 5th gear turbo.  You can bet the lawnmower on that.
    • Yeah I am on board and plan on coming down from the Ridge for some home games, great Friday night atmosphere there.  I'm really hoping SC can get them back going and have some success for those fans and community.
    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
