Grace Christian v. Richland

Not this year, haven't seen Richland either.

I like Richland in this one but I believe it has to be the best ball they've played all year haven't seen a roster on GCA so idk how the matchups will play out

Grace likes to shoot the three ALOT. They have a tall lanky shooter in #21(Stewart?). They have a few other good shooters. On defense they play zone. If you can get a lead and make them play man, they struggle.

So it is an all zone defense extended and pressure? It doesn't look like they have much size but neither does Richland should be a good matchup

Their pressure defense is an extended 1-3-1. They extend it to half court and trap on the sides. It gave Wartburg trouble for the first half, but after adjustments were made, Wartburg beat it.

Just shadowing what Rufus said, they stretch that zone out and sometimes even to 3/4 quart at times. They have a kid about 6 3 or 6 4 that can shoot!

BOTTOM LINE: if Grace is on from behind the line they're hard to stop, if it's just another average night then you've got a great chance of beating them! Size wise they're about what you could expect from a 1A school. Not anybody enormously big!

I agree, Grace has about 4 kids same kinda size and athletic ability, not great, but they can all pass, dribble and shoot, the run alot of dribble drive motion on offense, Got some attitude about them as well, on a side note LOL
