Alcoa 3 Stone Memorial 0. Oliver Springs visits Alcoa Monday night, 3/25/13 at 6:30.

Alcoa 9 Oliver Springs 0. Loudon visits Alcoa Tuesday 3/26/13. Boys Soccer is listed as a Spring sport.... I keep trying to find where the "Spring" is. So far it has been cold and snow.

Loudon 2 Alcoa 1 in Overtime. Great game. Both teams fought very hard. I am very impressed with the technical skills of Loudon.

CPA looked really strong last night with a 4-0 win over a good Boyd Buchanan team. Both teams are young, so they will improve as the season goes on.

Forgive me for not posting. Work got in the way of soccer...that is a terrible thing! We have played two games since my last post.

 

Webb 4 Alcoa 2

 

Oak Ridge 4 Alcoa 1

 

Both have very good teams. No real weak spots anywhere. If you had to ask me which was better, I could not tell you, they each do certain things very well. They play to their strengths and are well coached. Playing teams like this just makes us better.

 

As an after thought, the OR game was moved to our place because a sink hole opened up in the OR field! Looks like they may have to play away games for the rest of the year. Those irradiated gophers are really bad!!!
