Yellowstone
Rumor is that they are cleaning house with the disaster of a President they hired and anyone associated with him. Is Coach Farmer out? And is Coach Freudenthal back in? What in the world is going on at that place? Hater247
What has happened with this school? They used to win at everything? Is it a change in philosophy? Are they not getting the same type of kids they once were? Have they had that big of a turnover in their coaching staffs?
bigchief
The neighborhood around them has changed dramatically from the good old days.
BigENS
Outside of girls softball, what were the good old days?
bigchief
State championships in baseball, girls and boys basketball, and football. Multiple appearances in state football playoffs in the 80s. Several strong years in boys basketball (Julian Terrell, Erik Davis) etc. Consistent winners in girls basketball. If your only criteria is state championships, then you are still off. Hater247
They were successful in more than just softball! Do you think more than the neighborhood, the D2 movement got them?
bigchief
D2 may be a lesser factor, but the clientele they have to choose from has had a much more dramatic change. When I was growing up in the 70s/80s, Antioch was almost rural. I had many friends that went to EH back then. Hard to be PC and say it, but the area is almost in blight now.
