tnhssports
How does the team look so far? Are Zach and Kevin going to lead us to the district championship or are some of the other up and coming players going to take over? Your thoughts please. Guest basketballin
OAK RIDGE CAN BE VERY GOOD THIS YEAR. ZACH WILL BE SOLID AND PLAY MANY MINUTES AGAIN AND KEVIN WILL GET HIS POINTS AND REBOUNDS, BUT U CAN NOT FORGET ABOUT SHEROD SCOTT. HE IS A JUNIOR AND WILL ADD LOADS OF EXCITMENT TO THE TEAM. HE AN EXPLOSIVE PLAYER THATS VERY ATHLETIC. THOSE 3 SHOULD LEAD OAK RIDGE TO A DIST. CHAMPIONSHIP !
finalsay
How is Coach Norris picking the players for Oak Ridge this season. Is Coach Norris taking Carringers team intact or is he going to give tryouts to give other players a chance. Maybe after football season. I think Coach Norris is a great choice for Oak Ridge. Just curious----
DCCATVOICE
Coach Norris held a tryout for anybody in the school that wanted to play basketball. He held it on the first day that the team was allowed practice this week. The only people that weren't allowed to be there were those guys still in Football or Cross Country. He told a few guys that were on the football team that he would give them a tryout as soon as their season was over. To answer your question though, he did keep Coach Carringer's team but was willing to add others if they were able to help the team this year. Tnbreakers
I think Jared Stephens would be a good addition to the team. He is very active on the football field and as a freshman was very active on the court. You do not have to be a great scorer to play the game. They need some bangers on the board and some hustlers that will rub off on others. Just a thought!
