Perry Co. Vikings Football

Yes in the spring and this past friday.

So how did Perry Co. do against East Hickman?

They played real hard but just was not much of a contest. I think we scored  between eight to ten times and they never scored on our starters. They do not have many kids and they just lost their coach. I think they scored once or twice on our second and third stringers. They have a lot of fight just not much to go with it. We scrimmaged them two times and both times was about the same .

Cameron wasn't playing last spring, but do believe he ran over a few Friday night!! Matter of fact heard a few of East Hickman fans yelling at their players not to let 23 do that to them to take him down, but they never seemed to. Still heard it after game when boys were coming out of locker room from EH parents - so even their parents noticed it!!! So ready or not - 23 will be in your face or stepping over you while your on the ground!!!!

When did he run over East Hickman? We scrimmaged Perry County in the spring and Friday night and forgive me but I do not remeber this that you speak of. I might be forgetting one but I do not believe that Perry County even scored against our starters and only scored once or twice  against our second and third teamers. Perry County was a scrappy team but lack depth and strength.

Cameron Wilson is a great QB for this team so keep your eye on him at QB after watching the scrimmages I can't wait to see what he'll do in the jamboree and all through out the season. He runs the ball aggressive and is not afraid to run over someone as we seen against Huntland and east Hickman. We all know that Cameron and Dylan Churchwell are fighting for the QB spot but as the looks of it right now Cameron should be taking that spot. Churchwell is taller and has a alright arm but Cameron is more accurate throws harder and further. Also Churchwell does not run the ball aggressive. That's my aspects of this QB spot on this team. Good luck to the whole team!!!!!!

When is the Jamboree?

The jamboree is Friday at 6pm at Columbia Central, PC will be playing Zion in the first game of the night
