Thursday Night Lights

Clarksville vs. Goodpasture opening game has been pushed back to August 22 (Thursday). Is anyone else scheduled to play that evening. I'm wondering if this is slotted to be the opening "Thursday Night Lights" game.

Lebanon vs Mount Juliet will be the TNL game for that week.

Obviously im biased, but I think Oakland-Riverdale would have been a slam dunk for TNL game of the week. Riverdale is a little down this year, but its still going to be a great B O B

Did Lebanon even win a game last fall? Nothing against them, but not having OHS-RHS as the televised game is ridiculous.

LHS Beat Hendersonville in the season finale. Lebanon is at a brand new campus. It's the first time they are playing MJ on their new field. It's also the first game for Sam Harp, who won a lot of games and championships in KY, as Blue Devils head coach.

 

It's also Trey Perry's first game as head coach at MJ. It's also MJ's first game post-Hopkins/McCathern.

 

It should make for a great matchup and a good television show.

Maybe the home team did not want it on tv. Some schools don't like tv games because it takes away from the gate

Lebanon has some good young talent.. MJ is MJ.. I can see why this matchup with all the other intangibles is intriguing
