great game between both schools but a late horrible play call by the dca coach late in the 4th quarter....4th and a half yard....you have to go for it b/c your down by 3 but anyways mario calvetti had a great game and he will be a steal for some college wherever he ends up at....good luck to both schools in the playoffs

It was indeed a great game. As always with a DCA CPA game, it was pretty close. CPA made a lot of mistakes in the first half but settled down in the 2nd half.

 

Both teams had good defenses and I expect both will go to round 2 in the playoffs.

I made it to this game tonight. From what I saw, CPA had two linebackers that just followed Wooden. That opened up Calvetti a bit. But in the end CPA's line just took over. Good, Exciting Game.

CPA did a good job of containing Wooden, but you can see he certainly has a lot of potential especially considering he is a Sophomore.

 

Calvetti is dangerous with his mobility but his passing game appeared to be off last night. I was a little surprised that DCA were still running with 3-4 minutes left and down 9 points. I was also surprised by the 4th and inches call in the 2nd half that was mentioned in an earlier post. DCA tried to pull the CPA defense offside but then let the clock wind down for a delay of game and a 5 yard penalty.
