I agree Wiseone.  Our team also has a chip on their shoulders as well.  The last couple of years have left a very bad taste in them.  Looking for a great one.

Let NONE of the Cats taking the field Friday night forget the reaction of the feathered ones 2 years ago when they pulled the game out over there.  Acted like a bunch of homely fat girls that just got asked to the prom.  Disgusting......

Tonight should reveal a lot about both programs.  The bulk of last years leaders are gone but this is the largest senior class since 09 for the cats and it will be a better peek to see how many birds have flown the pit for easier football in Fayetteville's division.

We have a senior class of 18 players as well.  As I said before, these two senior classes have had plenty of knockdown dragouts since middle school so it should be a great game.  Good luck to both teams.  Go Falcons!!!!!!!!!!!

What a wild ride..... Giles Co has a boat full of talent but leadership was lacking. I do expect it to come......and it better get here quick.

 

Kudos to the falcons for earring there feathers after a 28-0 start. Good luck the rest of the season.

Agreed, gotta have the leadership. Too many missed tackles. But a W is a W even if it is ugly. Nice to see a little history being made with this group of young men. The losing at "The Pit" streak is over. Good Luck Cats!!!

Cats are back at work for sure. The "little things" have to be cleaned up. Need that Leadership to step it up now. I like the progress that has been made every week so far. They got to crank it up a notch in the mental game. Good job by the staff. Pick it up young men. Pick it up.....

First of all congrats to the Cats for opening Coach Walt debut at Giles Co. with a W.To many missed blocks and tackles.New uni's look good but I prefer a little more gold on them instead of the black and white Loretto look.If your going to be a good team you need to look like a team first so tuck your jerseys in.We could have had at least three touchdowns but the Lincoln Co. player grabbed the tail of their jersey.Need to keep the first qrt fire you had last night throughout the entire game.But a win is a win.

I definitely agree on the tucking in of the jerseys. The coach should've addressed that, but then again that's why he's coaching and not me. It worries me that all of our scores came off of drives that started deep inside Lincoln's territory. I would've liked to see us actually put together a drive and score but hopefully we'll get the kinks worked out by Friday.  Lord knows we have the athletes to do something special. Probably the most athletic depth I've ever seen on a Bobcat team.
