Lewis County @ Loretto

First of all they are a 2a school. Lewis played good at times and bad at times. That's typical for a season opener. That was the 63rd time these two teams have played each other. That is called a rivalry not a cup cake! Get your facts straight before you start running your mouth about Lewis co.

Always wondered the reasoning behind, schools like Loretto thats a 2a school and play in a 1a district, or LC a 3a school playing in a 2a district. If it's simply logistics or a numbers thing? Anyway heard this was a great game and Loretto was very athletic look forward to seeing y'all later in the season.

I think it's a numbers and logistics thing really, Loretto is 2a FBclass but play 1a class schools (perry collinwood, wayne) in our district or region what ever it is this year. Because we are small 2a enrollment wise like Mt Pleasant that used to be in our region/district. So its eiter play in district 12 with schoosl closer to our enrollment or get stuck playing lawrence or giles county ect. or travel a long wat to other 2a teams. Same with LC I think they have 4a FBClass team's in their district now: creek wood and montgomery central. Was a great game Loretto should be strong this year!
