TheRealTruth
I was referencing 16 total points. In the games you referenced, I see 54, 29 and 23. So never was quite a while back, I'm sure. Crabtree's MO... Outscore you. There's not a lot of defensive struggles. Never didn't really mean never, just very very rare. You are right. FYI... Gallatin won 7-0 in regular season of 2009.
TheRealTruth
Gallatin fans talking crap. How stupid you can be. Beech 49 Gallatin 14. Gallatin beat a really bad Springfield team. Every Gallatin fan will have pie in face at 930 Friday night. They will all be crying wait 2 years again. WAVE will lose 49 to 14 The only person taking "crap" is the individual who typed the quote above. Again, what does chickhot2 stand for? GWAVE1
Both games that year were great games. The sophomore defensive backs saved the game on that late drive by Beech in the first game. Still not sure how Gallatin did not get the onside kick in the second game. The Beech kid just made a heck of a play by recovering it. Still waiting to hear from Tandem and the other Buc posters.
tandem
35-21 Bucs Beech was hit by the Perfect Storm: very young team, very little proven depth, played a very good SC team in 90+ degree heat, short week, played a very deep team that will probably be playing in late Nov, lost 3 starters to injury (2 were 3 yr starters that went both ways), and most importantly, had its heart ripped out mid week when they learned that JH was gone. I'm sure nobody is going to feel sorry for Beech. It's going to take some time for this team to find a new identity. New leaders will have to step up. We have one of the best coaching staffs in the state. One of the things that Crabtree does best is make adjustments. Don't throw dirt on us just yet. GWAVE1
I agree Tandem. Springfield may have been Gallatin weakest opponent on the schedule and this Beech is one of the top 3. Beech will be refocused. Nobody doubts that. They are definitely a playoff team. Gallatin has to prove they can compete at that level. This year it is " get better every week" attitude. The Wave is a lot better than last year but like Wave88 said, they are not quite as good as the year prior. I do not expect a blowout like most. Not sure about a win but definitely a hard fought game.

GWAVE1
I do believe they are. WHIN 1010 does an excellent job covering the games.
