Best teams not going

Just wanting to get some input from you guys on who some of the best teams are that aren't going to the playoffs?

 

How many bowl games are still around, and have the invitations to those already been extended?

just b/c they're in a tough region as usual, Lebanon and LaVergne! Great year guys I hope you both get bowl games!

I know the Bellevue Bowl is scheduled and feel very confident 5-5 Hillwood will be one of the teams. Don't know if they can pull it off, but a solid 7-3 Macon County (3A) club would actually match up pretty well. Not very many bowl-eligible clubs around the mid-state. York, Huntland, and Montgomery Central are the others I see.

I thought you had to break even to get a bowl game these days?? Both Lavergne and Lebanon are 4-6. So do they still qualify? Lavergne sure does deserve a shot...especially for saving the rest of us Fri Nite! Right, Slim?
