Polk coming off a impressive win against WV, was not able to make it down...anybody got any details on what happen?  GO CHIEFS!!

It was completely one sided. According to the TFP, WV had 3 first downs (one from a penalty) and 55 net yards. WVs TD was on the 2nd team D.

Polk got their normal production on the ground and mixed in a few sharp passes.

I'm looking forward to Friday night.

Dumdum is there any chance Seq has upgraded those horrible visitors bleachers?

Hey Charlie, like he said, they got painted.  But there has been some upgrades, play clocks installed, new scoreboard, small concession stand on visitors side.  If the stands bother you, bring a chair and set on the hill like some folks do or just set on the home side like some visiting folks do.

As far as WV goes, you guys did what we should have done, we were up 21-0 in the first quarter and fixing to score again (on the 1 yard line), then it happened 18 penalties in the next 3 quarters, im still in shock over some of the calls.  Hopefully we got that out of our system, played well against LC and a improved Loudon team, Friday Night should be a good one.

I believe I might bring a chair and sit on the hill. The problem with the bleacher is there are no aisles! And with a PC crowd, once your in it is crazy trying to get down.

Will they be selling bbq plates in the north endzone? I was up there one year and saw those plates with fried potatoes, cole slaw.... I swore next time I was having some of that

Don't see any team in 5-AA beating Polk...

We are going to have to prove you wrong TRFan. I know folks see our score with WV, but I cant put it into words in what happen in that game.  The Chiefs have made some changes for the better.  Im betting the Chop House will be packed, for one of the hardest hitting games this year.  GO CHIEFS!!!

Looking back the last time the Chiefs played 4qts with Polk was the 2008 fog Bowl in Benton which ended up 16-0 polk.

The chiefs have had a season on halfs the first half with  Tellico,Walker Valley &L c.

the 2half with Loudon and Central. They will have to play all 4Qts to have a chance.

    • I have no issues with the Karns Middle School program.   Good coaches and he's with the kids he goes to school with.  He's a rising 6th grader who had to play with 6th grade kids last year because Karns didn't have enough kids for a 5th grade age team.  He's in a good place at this point.   My daughter is a single mom with 4 kids under 11 years old.  We help her out with logistics, so staying in our own area right now is important.  Once he gets to high school age, who knows what happens?  That bridge will be crossed when we get there.
    • I know he was a backup but I thought he filled in well when the starter went down. Never a bad thing to have a change of pace back
    • That would be a good get for them. Lowe always finds a way. Pretty sure they have their Rb from last year returning but not that line of beef
    • One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.
    • If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
