honestly the only team they beat with a pulse is smith co but smith is a lot better than their record indicates. The easy schedule could come bac to haunt them in the playoff but they have the talent to go deep in the playoffs. I guess only time will tell.

 

Fair enough. I'm just a firm believer in making a name against good playoff caliber teams. If they beat up on Smithville without too much trouble, they may be able to make some noise. Hard for me to buy in when this team hasn't beat a GOOD playoff team yet and thats going back to last year. SC is no doubt better now than when they played Upperman.

OriginalSC3 the week 10 game between DC and SC could be a huge battle for that 2nd playoff spot. Our week 9 and week 10 games will decide our playoff fate. Whether we get seeded high or low. Week 9 is the Upperman Bees. MC next week should be another tune up.

If DC was to lose both UHS and SC games I believe they would still get into the playoffs would they not? Assuming we beat MC and would finish at 6-4.

Yeah thats what I thought but it seems like TSSAA is changing up the criteria to be a playoff elgibile team every other year so didnt know or sure.

5 wins will normally get in...sometimes even 4 is possible.

I think there should be a rule that you have to 6 win to make playoffs.

upperman is good but not that good.they should clean the table and win 1st round but after that I wouldn't bet a nickel on em.still a very good year though.

I agree should have to have a winning record, I remember not long ago when 3 district wins got you into the playoffs. Quite a few 3 win teams made it in back then.

Not so fast 007. You guys still control your own destiny. Your Tigers have the best shot at the district championship other than Upperman. My Owls will need some help. Dekalb vs Upperman in week 9 will be huge.
