They have a few but definitely not stacked. This is the classic David and Goliath story. Well, maybe its more like David's little brother against Goliath.

LCA has a ton of athletes that they've got from cities around the school. Even in basketball I remember we went there last year and I was amazed at the athletes they had. They were stacked.

He was referring to playing them in basketball last season.

DC finished 30-7 and made it to substate and they were arguably the best team we saw all season, IMO.

Exactly. I know this is football and all, but it really opened my eyes to the athletes they have in the school system. If it translates (undefeated and 52 ppg, looks like it does) then they could score a bit on Alcoa. I don't think they'll win but it'll be interesting to see how they do.

State leaders in total yards. #Name/Pos/TotYds/

1Connor York(Sr)

Upperman (Baxter, TN)QB, 2049

2Kyle Akin(Jr)

Trinity Christian Academy (Jackson, TN)QB, 2035

3Matthew Williams(Jr)

Lancaster Christian Academy (Smyrna, TN)QB,2027

If you notice Lancaster has only played 5 games and he is averaging 405.4 yards per game. I have seen them play and that kid can spin it. The other kids have played 7 games.

unapproved website  has Williams kid as top in state. York is listed at 23 Akin is listed at 3.

Didn't know that about the LCA Basketball ball team.

Says the coach is Rocky Peeler, someone said he is from Johnson City and played high school ball at DB .

I think the coach at LC used to coach at Macon. Name is Watson. I also heard he was in the running for the Smith Co job but thought he was a little to young.
