He told the kids two weeks ago.

season, Referees and sports people( Newspapers and talk sports people) had heard this before season got fully underway. Even some other coaches had heard this. that is what some people are upset about. If he wanted to leave before season why did he keep coaching? He could have just taught. I wish Coach Allen good luck in whatever he does. Now we have to find a coach quick and one who can teach at an open teaching position.   This just ties up a teaching position. PFL.

Well I had my doubts about Allen going to the two schools I mentioned in an early post because those schools had head coaches. Well that just changed in the last couple hours. Whitfield County schools just posted a head Coaching vacancy on there website in the last couple hours. Haven't seen it posted anywhere yet will probably be in the paper tomorrow. So with that being said things seem to be a little clearer for JA.

Most coaches- are on staff in the county system at that school they coach at or another county school. Specifically the head coach.

Beautiful school awesome facilities tons of support for a new program but still don't see the intrigue in a guy who really hasn't won the majority of his games.

Jonny Reb said this about 3 weeks ago. The sport talk announcer at that Hixson game said it would not be Heritage. So he knew something also. To many bad feelings in Catoosa County.

I will not beat up on the guy. He cleaned up the stadium and the team . got new uniforms the facilities look great. The kids for the most part like him. He laid the ground work for a good season next year. Enough said...he wanted out..good luck coach Allen....

Article is pretty strong. Brand new program and they are already firing a coach after two years. Seems like the administration don't have a clue what it takes to build a new program. Now let's just say that this was all a done deal from some time back do they really think a fellow that couldn't get it done with some of the best athletes in Chattanooga can all of a sudden get it done with a bunch of rural kids from Whitfield County. Curious to see how this plays out.
