I don't see this 4 win team making semi's.

 

My friend, I hope I am wrong, but I fear Upperman's dominance of their opponents may come to a screaching halt!  This year's region was the weakest that I ever remember. I hope they go all the way, but they are still basically untested IMO and I'm guessing Tyner is much better than anyone they have played.

Can't get ahead of ourselves OldCatFan...these playoffs bring out the best(and sometimes the worst) in teams..not thinking about any other team but Smith County at this time...they are at home and have loyal fans so we are already at a disadvantage. One game at a time my friend!

Correct you are! Upperman hasn't beaten GC yet either! I was just replying to UCM's doubt of Tyner's capabilities.

Come on UCM....your supposed to know high school football, and should know better than to just look at records. But, looking at some of your stuff, you DO seem hung up on numbers.

Tyner won't be a run of the mill 4-6 team, I guarantee that. Do your homework.

I know ND lost in week 7, and I know the coaches and team are taking it one game at a time, but I personally can't wait until the Polk/ND rematch. I PROMISE you things will be different. ND had the worse game it's had all year on offense all year and still just lost by 2. This performance had very little to do with Polks defense.

oh shut up We beat you this time by 21. Injuries really?!? We didn't start 5 starters and they didn't play most of the 1st qtr. For being late to walk throughs on game day. By the way that's when you all scored!!! Our leading running back didn't even PLAY. LOOK HIM UP IN THE PAPER Auston Banks. In won't be an upset. All someone as to do is watch film. Excuses oh 3 turnovers, against us you had hurt players. Excuses Excuses.........I watched that game. That coach is a good coach at Polk. He ran the same play 8 times in a row. He didn't know what else to do. Duh Give to the big guy. He can do it. Hehe Y'all got out coached.

To comment on a few subjects here....

 

Tyner is not an ordinary 4 win team, Charlie is a fan, but their final few games haven't been against the best competition. I say they beat Smith but I have no idea how legit Upperman is...

 

Polk should beat Sequatchie, but one never knows in the playoffs.

 

As for private school thats playing with the publics.. Y'all might want to beat Cascade first, then you might get that rematch that you are so excited about.

 

As for week 7 game. Polk won the game, even when they were out coached, out hit, out blocked, out run, out dressed, surely out paid, out everything by this juggernaut of a team.

 

Regardless, whoever comes out of quad 2, wins a one way trip to Alcoa.

Out coached I would beg to differ. ND constantly lined up offsides ( coaching) and they ran so many trick plays especially on first down it was pathetic (coaching)... Their play calling was atrocious when something worked they went away from it

Come on, they lined up offsides because the refs put the ball in the wrong spot...

 

I do remember the coachT ND fans questioning the play calling of their awesome coach..

 

All I know is Polk won. And I'm pretty sure that's all that really counts!

 

Back to round one of the playoffs, Cascade fans,, bring your wallet.. ND charges about 10$ (satchel money) to park, and it's not a "donation", plus get there early because they only have bleachers for about 400....they choose to spend their money in other places....
