sportsguy22
No athletes....year in and year out they have less talent than just about everyone in the area. Manchester is just not a hotbed for football talent.

hardtackle
yes, and a lot of players that live in Manchester leave and go to Tullahoma Ask Ron Crawford about Coffee County. Came as head coach and left after 2 years. He found out that it is hard to win there and if he stayed he would never get another job. It is about Jimmy's and Joe's. That is just how it is in some jobs.

BURLEY
With the right coach and proper schedule managment, 6-4, 7-3 isn't out of the question on a yearly basis. I would think C.C would go for a experinced head coach this time, maybe a a coach with a state championship on his resume. On the players, like the movie Field of Dreams: "build it and they will come" Good luck, the kids deserve it.

Where do you think you are going to get the athletes you can't take a 5'10" O lineman and make him 6'2' tall, and a running back that run the 40 in 5 sec and make him run it in 4 sec

How many non region games do they have and who are you saying they play? 4 games is all that be scheduled because of region. Looks like 2 of the non region games were against poor teams this past fall. You suggest they play down in classification? Why in the heck play a divsion 2 team anyway? Coffee Co. tried to schedule several weaker teams and the would not play them. ( Grundy Co, East Ridge, Cannon Co, Macon Co, Cumberland Co. and Clarksville.) When team won't play you, you have to schedule teams that will.
