Three hours to lift-a-thon. Chapman and Fleming should be high men in total weight. Warrington should be the pound for pound winner. Any event that gets the players and community together makes for a good night.

I can't make it. Working out of town. Won't see Spring practice until the last day (unless my lottery luck changes). Wish I could support PupNole and the fellas, but they are in good hands.

 

Tonight, I think you will see parents and a few diehard fans that are craving anything football related. Then again, with Coach Gaddis' charm, who knows how many people will show up? I am interested to see how they can pull off a fan invited event in the weight room. I think NuCat will probably give us a report.

For some reason I really don't expect much of a crowd but I think I'm going to go for a while. Some friends I talked to had no idea what it was or that it was even going on.

So how much did big Chapman put up on bench press tonight? Does Darius Patterson still hold the record at 385 a few years back? That's a lot of weight for a HS kid.

I was wrong. The crowd was HUGE. The whole night was exciting. Even the music was even good. Lol. The players are strong and they seemed to love the night. I know I did !

The kid from NC did the most. I think it was 390 or 395. Chapman was close behind.

Dang. He holds the record now then. That's a ton of weight for a HS kid to bench press! When I was on the team John Dickens did the most and he only put up 365, which is a lot, but 395 blows that away. John only weighed about 245 though. Fleming is a lot bigger.

Warrington, manukian, Dunbar, Waddle, warmbrode, Allison, and Burum won lots of stuff. I think there were we over 100 people watching. Hard to move. Lol
