Greeneville vs Fulton

there is also a difference between having solid fact that it happened and only having the fact that there was a guy in a car across the road. What evidence do you have that he was from Greeneville? None? That's what I thought

Did I mention or even imply that there was a Greeneville fan/coach at Fulton's practice? That's what I thought

I've watched a lot of film on Fulton and the only thing I'll say on this thread is if Greeneville's DLine dominates like it has been, it will be a long night for Fulton. Their line is not very good from what I've seen. And Gvilles DLine is one of their strong points. They need to be able to have 10 hats around the ball at all times and make sure nothing gets out side and no cut back lanes for Rollins. Hawkins will be ineffective just like he was last year against Greeneville and they have to same DBs from last year. So I don't think Fulton will throw on them at all. Stop Rollins, Stop Fulton. You may disagree or not Idc. As always GO BIG GREENE.

This is the most off topic thread on coacht right now. I'm so ready for Friday. The Falcons will take this one. Both team have different advantages And most believe special teams will determine the winner making greeneville the slight favorite. I say no one is considering HOME.FIELD ADVANTAGE. We take pride in our house. I think that will be a huge factor.

Call me a troll...or whatever other juvenile names y'all have for people who only "jump on here" to post once...cause that's what I'm 'bout to do.  I'm one of those fans that actually goes to the game to holler and scream for my team.  I scream at the refs....stand up and dance like a fool....and I DO NOT yell ugly stuff at the opposing teams kids!  I like the good ole days better (you know,  before social media-blogging-facebooking-facetiming-tweeter-twittering-instagramming-utubing-vining-vulgar-hurtful-word-spewing ridiculousness).  Bottom line:  ALL these boys on ALL these high school teams are kids from 14-18 years old.  They work hard in the 95 degree heat, all the way through to the 20 degree freezing cold, just to have some small amount of glory or bragging rights.  I know who BVD is, and I know he is ALMOST as big a devil fan as I am a FALCON fan, and I know (at least I hope) that ALL you GREENEVILLE & FULTON fans will remember-- that come Friday night-one group of FINE YOUNG MEN will be heartbroken....and it's ALL ABOUT THEM ! Be respectful of these boys AND their families.  NONE OF US want to see our kids hurt, but more than that I CANNOT STAND all this disrespect for one another.  I'm finished.....so SPEW ON all you analysts and head coaches if you must !  Seems like you've ALL already got it figured out anyhow...from weather conditions, to play-calling, to special teams to speed and everything else in between.  My dream game:  Let all these big-mouthed adults from BOTH TEAMS suit up and go at it...maybe y'all could settle it once and for all (or preferably kill eachother trying).  Now I'd pay a LOT to see that !

    • Deja vu all over again, 7 yrs apart. SMDH Does anybody talk to each other?
    • OK, well, that’s because two quarterbacks can’t start. That’s football 101. The main quarterback won the starting job, so he was on varsity, and the Seymour transfer did not win the starting job. He played some varsity. He was mainly junior varsity, and he balled out when healthy, so for the starting quarterback who’s been starting varsity since his freshman year, if you have any form of proof that he’s gotten worse, somehow, whether that means stats or whatnot, please feel free to share.
    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
