I believe the upcoming JR class was undefeated in middle school, they should provide a spark to WHH this year.

Yea the should provide a spark but they may still be a year away from winning the district. This district is always tough one to win just somehow The Blue Devils always end up on top. I think they have won it for the last four years

Motown is not having a spring game. Would like to know what's going on with the other teams in the district. Most of them had games. How did they look?

Sycamore scrimmaged Stewart County last week. They have good size and some good athletes, Don't overlook them. I believe this team can win some games.

The Patriots will be loaded at the skill positions.  Put the whooping on Portland and Macon Co. in spring scrimmages so far.

Portland and Macon Co. had very bad seasons last year. I would be too pumped up about beating them yet. Portland didn't win a game and Macon had a below .500 season.

Cheatham went toe to toe with 6A sized Albertville, AL this spring. I think scoring wise it was 2-1.

Yea read in the paper that the Cubs have several players returning on defense

The Cubs will return Willie Presley and Nathaniel Jock but they also return a good core. Nick and Keenan Owen, Hank White, Kevin Bennett, Jonathan Salas, Johnny Henry, and Ryan Christmas should all be primed for big years. I'm sure that there are some other kids in the building who will contribute in a big way to the Cubs 2014 success. I don't know if they are or aren't playing but Austin Douglas and Nate Goode are a couple of guys that could help in a big way if they came out for the team this year. If Jett Brinkley were playing at Cheatham County and not Harpeth they'd be my pick to win District 9-AA honestly.
