Only three more weeks of district play with MCM, Upperman and DeKalb all having a shot at the title. Looking forward to see if any one can get on a roll going into the tournament.

Where is DC?

 

Scrimmage results so far: DC lost to Siegel, beat Friendship Christian, tied Stewarts Creek.

 

Look much better than I expected. We've lost a lot to college ball the last few years. Had two sign with roane state a few years ago and this year we had puckett and graham sign with Columbia state.

was judt guessing on my order of finish. Never seen MCM play. So SC ahead of UHS and LA? Oh, anyone know if MCM will ever play football since they do play baseball and basketball?

MCM is a fundamentally sound club.

Don't count CC out of the mix . I think they got most everyone back.

2-6 depends on everyone's 2nd,3rd,4th pitchers.

MCM is the team that should be the clear front runner.

Upperman lost 8 seniors last year. Its hard to replace that many

Smith County lost it best pitcher and will need to find a 3 and 4

Dekalb has lost a lot of talent the last two years but have a some good young players

Cannon may be the surprise this year as they have been very young the last two years

LA is still young but, we know that they will put the ball in play

York has a new coach and could be much improved

Macon County only returns one postion player from last year

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
