I can see upperman still fighting for the top spot though their record is against great competition. Very other district team has been struggling to or losing against the first teams DC blew out.

Has DC played Macon county yet? I would see that as being a great game and DC will see what they are made of tonight against Cookeville I think. DCs freshman pitcher was impressive. She has good speed and lots of junk which is great. LA is still coming together but they will improve. Errors have not been their friend and have got to start throwing some junk themselves IMO.

DC went 2-0 in the tournament yesterday. They beat Cookeville 10-1, and beat Houston Co. 6-5. They will play more games today. 8-0 on the season as of now.

9-0 after beating Henry Co. 2-1 this morning. Another game coming up.

Heard they beat Gordonsville as well. Definitely a quality opponent.

DC goes 10-0 after beating Gville 1-0. Very quality opponents these last few days. Houston and Henry counties also had blow out wins of 16 points before they played us.

Just beat Whitwell with a walk off three run homer in expired time after being down 3-1 with two outs.

11-0 after beating Whitell 4-3. Had whitwell lost a game yet? They were 5-0 last time I looked.

 

This may very well be up there with one of the best teams. If this continues I honesty can see state this year.

Just beat Houston co. again in the semis 3-0 to move to 12-0. Playing Powell right now in the championship game. Wow these girls are playing their 5th game today.

 

Saying cookeville was a measuring stick was nowhere close lol. Least of our worries in this tournament.

DC wins the tournament beating Powell 5-4. Now 13-0. Congrats ladies! You deserve it. 5 games today couldn't be easy by the end of the day.

Beat Powell at the last second for the championship. Been gritty close games all day. As for the best ever comment; we will see in April/May. The 08 and 10 teams were pretty tough. Not counting the successful ones in the nineties. They've played some really good teams so far, but maybe not a powerhouse yet. We'll have to wait and see if that happens.
