  I am also amazed at CHS field improvements. Finally someone is showing an interest in baseball.    All of the district will be pleased with the CHS field. Jackson's field is very very nice to say the least.    Best of luck to all.

Clarkrange is really young, so tuff to say that they will be able to compete with all the older boys. But the beauty of it is getting to watch them play! I do believe Jackson has a very nice field and I go by clarkrange field almost every day! The Parker man has it looking great! It's going to be an intense year for baseball in 7A!

  Seen kids there today with shovels, rakes and wheelbarrows. Seen a guy painting, the coaches with shovels and rakes.It's getting there guys. Still going take some work to rival Jackson County,but you are on the right track.

Got to see Clarkrange and Livingston scrimage last night. Couldn't believe all the work they have done with the field really look good. Livingston look ok, Clarkrange made about a dozen error and only saw them get two hits.

Yes Clarkrange looked kinda rusty. Two hits by two freshman. Too many strikeouts and errors to count. Should been a lot closer game for sure.But they have a good coach in Webb. He will line them out.

You got to remember they are young and errors accrue more with young players.

Clarkrange opens with York tomorrow. Can't wait to get this season started. Does anyone know who the other teams open with. I think Monterey is at Livingston.

Monterey couldn't handle Livingston in their opener, they gave 3 or 4 homeruns and other then 2 boys they have no hitting. They didn't have any pitching and were pretty bad in the field. So far it looks like a pretty tough season to over come for the last years district champs. Anyone know anything on the York vs Clarkrange game?

Clay lost 4-2 to RBS. And I don't know. Looper kinda just sat there like he could care less. It's hard to win without a little talent. They are lacking a whole lot of it! Besides they could barley get a strike over the plate unless it was right down the middle. The fastest pitcher maybe threw 70 mph. But it's possible for them to improve.

We will see, I wouldn't have thrown much against LA with a winnable game coming up against Watertown tomorrow night.
