The weather is a little tough for softball this week.

Hoping the rain this weekend doesnt ruin the tournament, really good competition there.

East Ham over Central 15 to 0

Sequatchie 17-3 loss to Marion at home in front of students, in-school game. Lots of distractions but it's the largest crowd of the season. 10-0 in second inning.

Walker Valley bows out of the Gulf Coast Classic with a loss in the 2nd round. Finished 5-2 to push their record to 14-3.

 

Soddy Daisy beat Ooltewah again 13-0 to distance themselves from the rest of the 5-AAA field. Upcoming Soddy, East Hamilton game should be interesting.

Sequatchie still did not play great but won 7-6 over Grundy to go 2-0 in the district. Scored five in bottom of sixth.

Marion County takes a 10-5 victory over Coffee County.

 

With the rain heading in, looks like the awesome lineup of games at the Choo Choo Classic will be in danger this weekend.

I don't know anything about Marion County, but Coffee County has not played up to my expectations.  Maybe my expectations for them were too high or perhaps it is still early in the season.

Maybe things can be reworked for Saturday.

Too bad they can't extend play into Sunday but possible there will be some softball played this weekend.
