Region 4A Jackson Co. vs Godpasture moved to Tuesday 4:30 @ Goodpasture

Not certain but I suppose it was moved to avoid the 80% chance of storms on Wednesday.

Goodpasture won 7-0 but the game was closer than the score. Jackson Co had base runners on most of the innings but just couldn't get that spark. Jackson Co's starting pitcher did well until the 4th inning. It seemed as if he was running out of steam. At any rate Jackson Co played a better game than the scoreboard shows.

Congratulations to Goodpasture on the Region

4A title.

Proud of JCHS! Sounds like they stood tall and played tough. Guessing people thought it would have been much worse. Goodpasture should be in 5A, makes zero sense not putting the Nashville team, in a district with other Nashville teams!!

Coach King usually does a good job in these games!  I'm sure Goodpasture was looking ahead to their sub-state game and JC was able to keep it closer than Goodpasture would have liked...

 

However, congrats to JC on another sub-state game.  3 in four years now?

Correct, and if South Pitt beats Boyd it will be at South Pitt for the 3rd time in 4 years.

We will see if we can prevent that from happening
