Our Dline looked pretty good last night but our pass coverage could use a little work. Offensively the run game looked real good and if our QB settles in and finds his rhythm like he did against the rebels he can be a nightmare. Don't know much about Dresden but I think it'll be a good game. Coach Woods and Jacobs are good at figuring out what the other team is doing and making adjustments. Peabody by 2 scores. ROLL TIDE!!!

Dresden needs to learn how to both bounce back from a disaster, and to play from behind if other team gets ahead. Which powerful Peabody may very well do in this game. Our coaches will for sure work on our weak areas, but in last analysis, it is the guys on field who have to execute and perform, coaches and fans cant do it for them. Having such mental toughness is paramount if any team is ever going to succeed. And the Lions better be tougher than the tough Tide who will be ready for us.. if not.. may be another looong night for Dresden. But methinks we'll make a great comeback and get back on track with our first W in a see-saw, exciting game!

Heavy you're right players do have to execute and the coaches can't do it for them however coaches can change up schemes during the game to try and counter what the other team is doing. That's what our coaches have done in the jamboree and the game last week. That's what happened against Mckenzie the coaches made defensive adjustments and the rebels offense didn't adjust to counter it. We started locking down the redzone. ROLL TIDE!!!!

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
