GO WARRIORS! I always pull for the Warriors! Blackman has one heck of a team again! It will be interesting to see if the Warriors will be competitive! I sure hope so! Hope its a great injury free game for both of these teams!

I started out a Warrior fan then my son graduated from Blackman. With that being said I love Rutherford Co. Football. This is a weird year. The top 2 teams are heads above the rest. Dodging any letdowns and injuries the Blaze and Pats. Should meet again in the playoffs. I will say that Adelotte finally got his head out, and brought his team back into modern day football. Something the Riverdale ATHLETES deserve. Good luck Warriors welcome back!

Nice post oldfan41! Some great football in Rutherford County! Hope your son is doing well! I'm am happy he did to! When it comes down to it is about these kids! You have to pass and run and have balance! One compliments the other. Hopefully the Warriors are back and competitive with everyone they play!

Thank you pepvol! I see the Rebels are a force to be reckoned with yet again! No surprise there at all! I love how your defense is playing, lights out! Hope Riverdale shows improvement to and hope we can be competitive for Blackman. We will see on Friday! Best wishes against West this Friday!

Friday night is when Riverdale's defense gets to show whether they're for real.  If you're a player you live for these games.  

 

Unfortunately, I have to agree with the poster above...minus the field goal.  Blackman 35-7.  There will be a classic field goal situation but, instead, Riverdale will go for it on 4th and 6...coming up 1 yard short.

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
