William Blount vs. Hardin Valley

It looks like my prediction for HV might be coming true. Before the season even started I predicted that they would be in the top 3 of our district. They looked very impressive imo, they had good size and speed and played very physical on both sides of the ball. And I originally predicted that WB would battle it out for the 4th place spot with Farragut. Which is looking incredibly unlikely now unless we catch lightening in a bottle. One thing is for sure though.. We have got to win the next 3 games if we want to have a prayer of making the playoffs. If we win the next 3 suddenly we are sitting at a respectable 3-3 going into the west game. And we all know that west and maryville are losses so we have got to beat heritage, Jefferson County, Lenoir City, Farragut, and Bearden if we want to crack .500 and possibly get a wildcard spot in the playoffs.

Govs keep rolling down the toilet coaching mistakes in first 3 games have cost them idiotic offense calling and stupid defensive schemes ive said it many times this defense does not work we wait til they score 26 to 30 points a game and then decide to show up in 2nd half they need to make sum changes quick its gonna get worse at this point we might finish 1-9

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
