DC- I appreciate your optimism, but I saw more delay of game penalties, no definition of blocking schemes, and a question of sideline leadership which is still there. Best of luck to DC and thanks for the hospitality on our home field. We sure need it

I cant speak on the sideline leadership, but cant argue against your other points. Even with all that being said, yall still did a few good things. It did seem like after a good play, yall would turn around and shoot yourself in the foot.

Very Sad night, these players could compete … they need leadership, they deserve better than what they have.

Is the HC smart enough to understand he is not the answer and these kids deserve more than he can give them. I'm sure the HC is a great person, but at some point the HC needs to look in the mirror and ask what's best for theses players !!!

It looks like things will never change in Woodbury.  Until the coaching situation changes the product on the field will never change, they are averaging close to 6 points per game and that will only win in golf.  DeKalb County looks to be catching there stride right now and getting it turned around.

Playing Cannon will make anyone catch their stride right now. Harsh to say that...but true.

I believe that with the right coach, just about every school in the state could be competitive year in and year out, and that includes CC. Keep in mind that this is just year two for him, Coach Trapp didn't have much success until year 4. I don't know if Coach Daniel is the right man for the job or not, but I do know getting a new coach every 3 years isn't the answer either.

in this case it most surely is.

DC- How are you "sure" that "all the CC fans" have said such things?

I think he's saying that maybe that's been the general attitude in Cannon just going by the fact that you guys have gone through a few coaches as of late. I personally don't think you can see what a coach can fully do until his first group of freshmen have become seniors. That's where Trapp started to turn things around.

    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
    • Now that wouldn’t surprise me a bit. That has been going on heavily since the days of Larry Kerr @ AC. One of the major reasons CC has never really had much at all, barring about 2 seasons in football. AC milks it dry.
