Forrest 2A vs Page 4A

There are no Forrest guys at Summit. He forfeited his Forrest status forever. He's way to good to be from Chapel Hill. He needs to move to Spring Hill since it's so much better. And he knows exactly what would happen if he brought that pitiful football team to Chapel Hill. 35 -7 wouldn't touch it. The Forrest kids and community would be so pumped Summit would not get a first down. I say 63 -0.

Forrest should consider jamming the s word out of Page's receivers at the LOS. Thoughts from others of you?

I think that is the way to go. Earl from Backdog was telling me that Page gets their big 350 pounder back for this game. I hope the Rockets can have better luck with Page's defense than Lipscomb and Summit. Eaglesville and Cornerville couldnt move the ball on our middle school. I hope we arent fishing in deep waters for homecoming.

just read that Page's QB, with 4 starts under him, is 6 4 200. like a lanky kid.

its going to be about the LOS, as usual. Forrest should be a year better, we were very young there last year.

Can Forrest control the LOS. That will be everything. I think we will know early.

That lanky fella started at LB last year and is College Grove TOUGH! His uncle Rooster and I used to get in some trouble. The GROVE is coming to Chapel Hill in force Friday night!

    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
