Wavotiger10
The Loretto Teams from 2006-2010 were prolly the worst in the state. They had a combined record of 4-36. Those win coming against very young East Hickman teams that had just started and a poor Richland team. The funny thing is from 06-09 season they had a player on there roster who has a National championship Ring and 2 SEC Title rings out of Alabama on there starting line-up and still only won 2 games...(the other two wins came after he graduated lol) they were terrible. Wavotiger10
Lol it's so funny. Alcoa thinks they own everything that they have to prove they have had the worst teams in history also. Funny. Unfortunately they probably will win another state title this year.

You can have really bad teams at a point in your history and become a power later on.

BigDave1967
That's the plan. That's the plan every season for Alcoa and Maryville(At least until George Quarles decide to hang it up)!

Or until Maryville has to play in the IFL. Then GQ will go winless and get fired. Sigh.......

A nightmare would be Gary Rankin retires at Alcoa and CQ goes across town to coach Alcoa
Wavotiger10
So what? You can have really bad teams at a point in your history and become a power later on. Lol Waverly is doing that in one season lol 1-9 last year. This year they are 5-0 out scoring opponents 246-
Wavotiger10
A nightmare would be Gary Rankin retires at Alcoa and CQ goes across town to coach Alcoa Rankin is a legend. It's a toss up on who is a better active coach. Rankin or Sharp out of Lewis County.... Now before you go ahead and hand the title to Rankin cause of state titles. Bobby Sharp has got to do what he can with what he can cause all Lewis County has is a cemetery with Meriwether Lewis Dead body in it and football. That's not enough to bring kids from other schools into the programs because parents aren't gonna move there kids into a poor county such as Lewis County. So Sharp uses what he can as where Rankin is very close to Knoxville where there are tons and tons of reason for parents to move there kids Into the Alcoa area so there kids can play at mighty Alcoa. I'm not saying Lewis County is a better team than Alcoa... I am saying that it's possible that Bobby Sharp is a better coach than rankin. Sharp is very close to 25-30 playoff appearances right now. #GODISTRICT11AA

But from what you're saying, sounds like there's a better chance of Tennessee rehiring Derek Doofus. LOL
