S. Pitt @ Gordonsville

South Pittsburg will win and will face Boyd next Friday in the Quarter's....However, it will be a close game...There is one thing you can't do this year in High School Football, compare scores and games of other components....this has been a freaky year. I will say that if South Pitt gets through Gordonsville, it will be a much closer game against Boyd if not beating them.

pcountry you have great insight to the game. I hope you are right it will be nice to see a team from the sequatchie valley do well and go deep into the playoffs. Do you have a score prediction I think S.p. wins in a hardfought 14 point win.

On my personal views on it, I firmly think that it will be won within the line of scrimmage. Of course you have fast backs and all, but a back isn't nothing without the great blocking upfront. South Pitt has a great o-line and d-line. Gordonsville I believe should be up for the challenge. This is going to be a factor of pulling out a win.

I believe this is ganna be a great game but personally i believe that their are 4 keys to winning this game.

 

1. win the battle in the trenches

2. Have less turnovers

3. Captilize in the red zone

4. play with more effort

i do not get where some people say this game will be a blow out. Both teams are good enoguh to go all the way. And both teams will hit you...HARD!!!! But this game by far will not be a blow out....especially since it is the "JUNGLE"

I agree 100%. This game will not be a blowout in my eyes and if you like football you will love the game friday night. Should be a physical game and I cant wait to see #32 for G-ville and #40 for sout pitt have a collision. Ive senn gordonsville play a few times, last year against boyd for one and i can guarantee "the jungle" will be rocking.

Also cant wait to see Mr. football finalist Aj Jones.

Just curious of what people from Monterey thinks about this game? You have played both teams. Should be a good game I still think S.P. will win by 14. I wish I could go but won't be able to thankfully it will be on the radio in South Pittsburg.

I don't think it will be a close game either!! I have not seen SP play...but you can bet your boat I'll be there Friday night if SP is that much more talented than G-ville. A healthy Tiger team WILL NOT get blown out of the water. I'll say it again, G-ville 5 touchdowns to 2!

I cant believe BigReid says Gordonsville win will by 3 touchdowns. Like I said earlier I am confident South Pittsburg is the better team, but it being in the jungle will make it more interesting. I think Gordonsville people will agree. I am sure they are very thankful they arent coming to South Pittsburg. This is going to be like the fourth time weve been to Gordonsville in the playoffs and tney have just come to South Pitt one time. I was really impressed by the Gordonsville players, coaches, and fans last year. They show alot of class.
