Yes. Play mistake free ball and you can win this one. The thing is the pirates are down but they keep finding ways to win. They believe they should win and it shows.

That believing part is what worries me. Boyd and South Pitt have always been huge mental games for Basin. Being at home should help.

Corbin is great, but I saw some of our guys really step up last night.  However, I won't say who....too many ears on here.

I saw a leader finally emerge on defense last night. He is the best player on both sides of the ball right now. He was talking to the other players and helping them off the ground. He made some big plays on both sides as well. If we keep using him like we did we got a chance to keep this one close.

The facts are this. We are a totally different team without Corbin. Take away any team's best player and see what happens. We simply can't replace his ability on both sides.

Old pirate. I wasn't upset that's just the intensity I bring to football games.. I hope it's contagious and our kids catch it. Because this basin team is a good old school 3 yards and a cloud of dust team, that I've said all year I like how they play. Put up or shut up time for the kids wearing orange and black.

I appreciate those words. Just ask your son about why there isn't any emotion on the sideline. I have heard some things that just make me mad.
