It's rough that he's the worst sore loser of all. But pretty much all he's said about Copper Basin has been insulting

Times have changed ambassador. The dominant team in the valley now is in purple. Several sp kids are in their little league system and schools. Something needs to turn it around and fast. This years team never clicked all year. I don't know what goes on during practice or the thought process behind play calling in games but I will say that fans being mad at coaches and coaches having to be escorted off the field is ridiculous. I know Tim has been gotten on by several fans but I will say this....a typical week for these coaches 7 hours of film study on Sunday afternoons...4 hour practice days and studying film after Monday through Thursday. It's a lot of work. They want to win. It's not like he or the other coaches are just throwing the game. Talent had a lot to do with it. Bottom line, all around we were an underachieving 1a team. That does fall back on the coaches I guess for motivation which I didn't see a lot of on the sideline. Coaches coach and players play...coaches can't play for them...time for sp kids to get stronger and a new young breed to establish themselves next year hopefully...if three freshman (will be sophomores) come out their is a dramatic skill position upgrade...and all 3 of those freshman could have easily started defense for us this year! Good luck to cb next week...and as always go pirates!

I think he meant not good football...someone made the comment bad teams do not make it to the quarterfinals...I disagree....every year in 1A there are only about 5 good teams, 5 average teams, and the rest are subpar...not excuses just truth with watered down 1A. Good luck to bc next week and in the playoffs!

I said congratulations on the win, but you're kidding yourself if you think either one of those teams tonight should be classified as "good."

I think he meant not good football...someone made the comment bad teams do not make it to the quarterfinals...I disagree....every year in 1A there are only about 5 good teams, 5 average teams, and the rest are subpar...not excuses just truth with watered down 1A. You are exactly right PowerP. 1A typically has 4-5 good teams and 7-8 others that are decent. After those it drops off fast.

I am a fan of ball control offense and smashmouth football.  I appreciate the fact that some people like fancy offense that just sparkle in the stat books, but heart, pride, and toughness mean something.  If anybody thinks thats gross, well maybe you should take up ballet or opera.

Heard Moore was cause people were on him so bad..didn't see it just heard it..if so that's sad for Tim...no coach deserves that from their own people

Basin isn't "bad". No I don't think they are in the first tier of playoff teams but they aren't in the last. They are above average

I've seen smash mouth offense at SP and in the valley since the 1960's. Maybe the smash mouth football you are talking about is the new and improved smash mouth of 2014. Those Basin teams back in 83&84 were very good teams. Those teams would beat this one by 50 points just like the good SP teams of years past would beat this one by 50 points. It is what it is and that's fine, but if you think these were good football teams then you have lost what good is.
