Come on BlackHaven and sheriff and the rest of you non believers lol... Where are y'all's predictions... It's easy to say watch out for trezvant but that ain't making a prediction... I wanna see numbers because I don't think yall really believe deep down that trezvant will win this game...

Please read the post to which I responded. Context will help. The poster dismissed the league as irrelevant based on his personal prejudice. I felt compelled to respond with my own opinion, which is that the league is widely perceived as elite and should therefore not be ignored.

I have good relationships with coaches at every level of play and deeply respect the work that goes into winning football games. My defense of DII is not an attack on any other classification.

All I was saying is the facts: I dismissed them from the public school championship talk because their road to the championship is not the same as the road the publics have to take. No shots taken. Privates have great teams. I would like to see them prove themselves in the public league and playoffs

I am hoping for a 4 quarter game here. Fulton is sound across the board. I have respect for both teams but I'll go with the Dog here. Trezevant has got to stay close. If they can the game will come to them. Fulton's a machine but them Elvis boys are tough. I honestly think Trez can play D with them plus score a few. It's special teams that concerns me. Strap em tight Purple Bears. Go get this..... :ugeek:

Come on now... Our coaches have seen teams like this a million times you must've never heard of our biggest rival Austin East... A few years ago AE had teams exactly like this trezvant team... Fulton will be ready and we obviously ain't playing them ootlewah Owls either or would be much more confident...

Trezevant is nothing like Austin E. And you have NEVER played a team like this. No teams like this reside in the hills sir

      Won't happen. College coaches will back the coach every time and it cost this young lady her senior season. Looks like the player may be right on this one. School let her  go after one season. This stuff happens more than you think.

      Why did the coach get rehired after she was let go as an assistant by the former Warren County coach and the current AD?? Is that accurate?? I am very familiar with situations like this. Suprised lawsuits haven't happend before. If the coach unfairly let the player go, I think she has a shot because it cost her a scholarship. No college is going to offer a scholarship to a player that is kicked off of the team. Not going to happen. There are bad hires like this a bunch and kids are treated unfairly by coaches that can't coach a lick and have super long ropes somehow. Amazing how some of these coaches get hired and keep their job.

      I am going to assume you are not a lawyer, and most reasonable lawyers would not say the lawsuit has a zero percent chance in court. I agree with you that a coach has the ability to dismiss anyone from a team. However, Ms. Winfree was never presented with the opportunity to present her witnesses and have them tell the coaches and administrators what they heard. A lawyer could better explain the lawsuit and the grounds to you. Before you start making wild assumptions about the lawsuit, would it be too much to ask that you do a little legal research first?       The administration took the path of backing the coach and whispering to people that the kid was a problem. The reality is that the kid was never a problem on a team or classroom. The player says she has witnessed who back her not saying the f-word.  Why did the coach make that story up and other stories? I am not Sigmund Freud and do not have an answer for the ex=-coach's behavior..
