For real. G91 seems to think WB will instantly go from a doormat to a title contender. It don't work like that. :)

Tell that to the 9-1 Mo East team that beat DB in the first round of the playoffs and was only 1-9 the year before that. And if I'm not mistaking that 9-1 record coincided with a coaching change. Nobody would have ever expected a 1-9 team to be 9-1 the very next year but they did it. And I expect this WB team to surprise folks as well albeit our improvement won't be as dramatic as Mo East's because we have a tougher schedule. But I can promise you that this team will show up on the defensive side of the ball this yeat and that alone will get us a few more wins. The offense has been there and will be there this year but the defense has been missing in action. Shadowens has brought defense back to WB. And I can promise you that we won't have another disaster like we had at Bearden last year. This team will be better and if teams come in thinking we are those same 2-8 or 3-7 WB teams they will get beat. Frankly, i'm glad folks are doubting us this year even though we actually have a good coach now. It will just make it that much easier to upset folks. I can't wait for the season to start. Incorrect. MoEast had the same coach between those 2 years. Nice try! :)

    • No reasonable lawyer would take up this case. I am not a lawyer, but I know school law in and out.  Similar situations just like this play out thousands of times each year across the country, even at the college level (i.e. Ole Miss)  The Plaintiff's never win...ever.  If I am wrong, please provide a legal precedent for me. I will be waiting.  https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/39431892/judge-drops-ole-miss-player-lawsuit-lane-kiffin
    • Yes Justin Cruse was named head coach
    • It used to be, I think it still is, a change of 20% +/- gives reason to reclassify. Schools can choose to play up classifications but not down. Here is the mid cycle reclassification info on TSSAA.org When Memphis East changed from a regular public school to an "all-optional" school in 2017 the would've dropped to A but chose to stay in AAA in basketball (baseball, and softball) Penny was still coaching there and with the players they had they would've beaten A teams by 40 and slept walked to the championship. Other Memphis schools stayed in their classifications (mostly in basketball) until the next reclassification cycle. Of course this is the same time that a 4th class was added basketball.
