I was told by a couple people Ellison during his interview say that if he was hired he was going bring the Clinton QB with him to Powell. Let see if he was telling the truth or blowing smoke

I would say that if that were true, he probably wouldn't have been hired because that's a pretty unethical thing to do imo.

That is true, however, it would be very foolish to get out of one controversy and step right back into another if someone basically tells you hey I'm gonna cause another crap storm! I do not think any of that is true though because from all I've heard, Ellison is a stand up guy.

I talked with Coach Ellison & he told me that Clinton would be just fine with coach Jessie calling the plays & THACKERSON running the offense. Sounds to me like he meant Thackerson would still be Clintons QB.

Didn't blow smoke because it was never said. Although I am sure any coach would love to have Thackerson, he is the best QB in the area.

In the "area"??? I really like Thackerson! However, that kid over Dollywood way is the best QB in this area! I would agree that Thackerson is the best returning QB in the Knox area! Hands down!

I was told they are going to be traveling to Florida, Ga, OH, TN, and some others, I was told they are working with the QB guy here in Knoxville.
