We sure haven't blowed Cloudland out!

We make some of the STUPIDEST passes and decisions!

We don't always play ready basketball, not ready for passes, not getting our ball handles the ball on breaks, etc

IMO, we stood ALOT on D and didn't have steals we should have had.

Now it's 52-43, see what I mean!

Cloudland is out hustling us at the time

Personally, I'm not a fan of the constant subbing we're doing. We start out with a good run, then all sorts of subs later, we have NO rhythm offensively at all. There's too much standing around on defense and offence, too. It's like they lose interest after they get a big lead, then have to fend off a team they should beat by 20 or so and leave everybody scratching their heads. This lack of a killer instinct,  not finishing off a team when they have them down, is gonna cost them again, I'm afraid.

Cloudland was out manned from the getgo, Hampton played lights out to start the game and Ned let up. But when the starters came back they played sloppy and careless. Hampton will have to play better if they have aspirations of a run to the state. Hats off to the Landers, they fought hard to the bitter end.

    • It's time to play everybody's favorite game of how is this season going to go. I'll undertake the fool's errand of a prediction. Encourage the region 2 fans to do the same. Cloudland: Top until they get beat always seem to perform year in year out with a small changing roster. Cosby, North Greene: These two could finish in either order they didn't have big senior classes. Lots of young guys got experience last season and most of their best athletes are upperclassmen it'll depend on coaching and if the kids can put it all together.  Jellico, Unaka: Like the two above could finish in either spot both of them lost key pieces to graduation. It'll depend on how returners play and if young guys can fill shoes.  Hancock: Small roster size devastated by a big senior class that took a lot of the experience and athleticism with them.
    • Confident that Marion, Moore, and Gordonsville are losses.  7-3 would be a nice turnaround.  5-5, 4-6, 3-7, etc. and it's a disappointment
    • Win the Watertown game, you can start 4-0. Lose it and you might be anywhere from 0-4 to 3-1.
