AAA State Predictions

True... Has he wrestlers the Chat Central or Hixson boys? Doubt he's taken in Boykin or Evans.

I stopped in at the national duals practice last year and watched Evans make easy work of Boykin. I would say Evans is the best 285 in the state all classes. I think Boykin wins AAA but Kennedy will be a huge challenge. Evans should walk through A/AA. He will meet Chatt Central in the semis if they both make it. Edited by TheManOnTop

I know this is AAA topic, but if someone from a 1000 or less public school can win the32 man bracket, that's worth discussion as we talk up a true state champ... With that said,,, How would Hixson's 285 do after surprising Chattanooga Central twice this year?

How would Hixson's Goforth and ND's Packy Mullin come out?

Not bad from what I know and seen. Seen some know little, however I think there maybe some surprises in 106 maybe not the top spot but others. I think 126 is a 3 way toss up .whoever wrestles best . I will say it will hurt Bradleys point total cause Fuller pins and scores and I'm sure he will some but not Cyree and Landers. Those points will be important for the team totals. I see you went with the consensus at 220. I'm still not sold on Kramer over either Kennet or Gaither , pretty sure he's lost to both and as recent as the duals to Gaither questionable refs in mind. I also see you have Brown at 4th in 182 for Bradley where others didn't think he might place. I agree with this. He stood out at the region to me. Big strong kid. I'd say he's close to 6ft 4 or 6ft 5 all muscle. And can wrestle. They had him as a sophomore on track last week but I believe he's a jr. I could be wrong. I like Russo also.

But if I was a betting man this would be my finals match-ups! :geek:

So my question is why begley in the finals? That is different then the others on here. Just checking your train of thought. There is a top 4 in my opinion which is king, begley, Oliver, and garrison but there is more that can compete. In no particular order, they are all great and wrestle each other well. • I believe that was last year. I was interested in the Jones vs Baker comment, so I went back and looked at GC. I am not a fan of either nor am I a baseball guru. This looks like to me the duel was not close and if the errors would not have been made Eagleville would have won. I assume you are a little biased. I do think your mph for Jeffcoat and Baker must be from last year.  Baker-85 pitches 67 strikes. 5.2 innings, 5H, 1BB, 0ER and 7K's. 3 errors  Jones- 78 pitches 37 strikes. 4 innings, 2H, 5BB, 0ER and 1K. 1 error   Adams and the UH kid are really good as well. What about South Pitt and Oakdale? I heard they have some good ones.
    • I hate this for all the kids in the program and fans alike. I can't recall of anything like this before in my lifetime but I'm sure it isn't a first. After criminal investigations are complete and the TSSAA looks into this the program it will be facing Nuclear Winter for some time to come. It's always the innocent left behind that end up paying the price for something someone else has done. I'm sure the transfer portal will be very active in Clinton over the summer months. How could you find a good coach worth his salt that would take on a situation like this not knowing what will happen.
    • I’ve seen Jeffcoat in person twice and he was 84-87 both times and the one time I saw Baker he was low 80’s, he actually got out dueled by Jones from ER in that outing.
    • Pirate fans, thread is up on the baseball message board.
