Yes Cookeville is 4-0 in district right now. We are 14-8 overall with 4 losses of only 1 run. Hopefully we are going in the right direction and finishing better against quality opponents. I don't know anything about the rest of the district other than Warren Counties team is better than I have seen them in a long time. They are definitely the most improved team in the district I have seen so far. Haven't seen or heard anything exactly on Rhea County other than they are still very quick and the freshman pitcher is pretty good. We play them at Rhea County on Tuesday.

Where is Warren's softball field? Is it at the high school or over at the middle school with the football field?

Warren Co softball field is at the high school in the back.  Next to baseball field.  Good luck on finding.  Just get off main road and go in front of school and turn at the security office and go straight back.  Just behind the school.

Go Cavs!!!  We just slapped Sparta last night 8-0.  We didn't hit very well but they had quiet a few errors and they are awful when it comes to hitting.  

Not sure what the umpire was watching behind the plate, but unreal what these two pitchers were facing.  He would not give an outside pitch to either pitcher.  Cookeville's pitcher probably had 15 pitches that should have been called strikes and Sparta's pitcher probably had 25 that should have been called strikes.  I was right behind the plate and not real sure what umpire was watching.  Just awful these two rivals had to play under those conditions.  Cookeville is the better team, but still awful.

To be fair, Sparta had three starters out and a couple of the replacements struggled.

 

Looks like this District is Cookeville's and Rhea County's.  Should be a good final in the the Tournament!!!

Don,t count your chickens yet on Cookeville and Rhea Co. ! If Warren Co. goes down to Rhea tonight and sweeps them then WC will be the 2 seed going into tourney!

Don't want to jinx anyone on this one, this is a huge matchup - after all, Rhea Co. just beat Cookeville and Stone beat Warren Co!

Well, Warren Co. was in Dayton is about all I can say!LOL We really stunk it up last night, but the bright side is we where picked to finish last but got the 3 seed for district tourney. keeping my fingers cross!
