The 2006 season we had 2 guys who could run a time under 4.65 consistently, myself and N.Bell. I heard we had one guy who could run in the 4.6 range on our current team but idk if its true, #2...?

Also the fastest i have ever seen personally with my own eyes is Hammack he ran 4.55 my JR yr.

Could be #2.....I know one on the team is considered one of the faster kids on the team and he aint running no sub 4.7.....been timed in the 4.8-4.9 range at a camp...hand timed Edited by wboro33

Indeed some ppl do not have any idea just how fast a 4.6 or under is. If your playing a skill position in 1A or 2A and your running a 40 in 4.75 or under then odds are you are one of if not the fastest on your team.

Great example...Tyrann Matheui or the "Honey Badger" the DB who was a stud KR/PR and DB @ LSU and now a starting NFL Free Safety with the Arizona Cardinals ran an official 40 time of 4.62 his SR yr of HS. Just shows how hard running a sub 4.6 really is esp at a 1-2A school.

Just read a article on coach t that said Mt Pleasant have two players this year one running a 4.55 and another a 4.5 and they said both would be pact players The article on here is called 5 players who be impact players for Mt Pleasant

Yeah it was in the Daily Herald newspaper out of Columbia. Good article. The one who runs one of those two 4.5s is going the be there new starting RB who ia 5'6 145...Says hes fast and very strong in the weight room...still though...5'6 less than 150 is really small no matter what he supposedly runs.

Anyways I believe theae times to be accurate. Coach Bradley is not the type to trump up his kids 40s. Plus MtP seems to ALWAYS have 2 or 3 kids who are sub 4.65.

Then why has everyone discredited me saying we got 6 guys running 4.7 or better we have 70 on the team that less than 9 percent. Plus they talked about his strength my son is 5'7 160 going to be a junior max bench 235 squats 315 and that is standard for his size

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
