220 was a hard one for me. How did those heavyweights you listed do nationally?

The 6-foot-4, 275 pounder, Allen, was unbelievably dominant his senior year as was Kenny Meredith which had no real competition then or against anyone else since IMO. The same could be said of a couple of Soddy lower weights and senior Bundy of Hville.

If you go back to 2000 you must include Jordan Leen, Phillip Simpson, Raymond Dunning, Patrick Simpson, William Simpson & Whitt Dunning

 

At 220 who was athletic enough to beat Amos Mason?

Also have to include guys like Matt Keller, Quinn Gibson, Shawn Cordell, Kyle James, and John Lane in this conversation as well. They all had pretty dominant careers in high school.

Soddy also had Matt Lettner and Swanson that would be competitive with Amos. Let's not forget their Campbell Lewis who was as steady as anyone considering injuries and still making the 4x club

Excellent list.  What year did HWT Scott Wells graduate?  I think he just misses this list 2000 list.
