Do not know much about Laverne besides the Grey kid. But i do know Smyrna has looked mediocre throughout the preseason.

Rosheas Gray graduated, Maliek Gray is back. He has offers from about D1 school in the South so definitely a dangerous player and only a junior.

Going by jamboree results you would think SC and LHS have a good shot vs. Overton and Smyrna... but jamboree results can be tricky.

You are correct jamboree results don't mean much b/c I heard both Oakland and LaVergne held back on their offensive plays and both held a few players out to make sure they were healthy for their 1st real game! Hopefully it works out for both teams and they get a win! Good luck to the Patriots and the Wolverines!

Injuries have already started to pile up for Smyrna. The o line play was bad during the only scrimmage I got to see. Defense will be good and will get better as the season goes along. This could be a close one.
